This was a photo of opportunity. I was sitting and talking to a friend when I looked over and asked him to please pass over what he was working on so I could take the pictures.

This date is special to the object being photographed. While not a really, really close macro photo, the date is small in relation to the object in question.

This macro is the result of an experiment. I put extension tubes onto a macro lens and shot at full extension. I actually had to take the filter off the lens to get close enough to get this picture. An LED flashlight was the illumination. It would have been better had I used a tripod but I did not have the time to set one up properly.
