Roadrunners are famous for getting in front of a vehicle and trying to pace themselves to the vehicle. We have a couple in our area. Interesting birds.

Roadrunner Pictures
Where I live we now and again see a roadrunner. I have a few pictures but most are of the bird in the brush where it is difficult to see.
One day, however, I was walking and noticed a roadrunner to my left keeping up with me. I expected the bird to dash across the street at some point and true to form it did. Managed to take some pictures but one, in particular, stood out not because of the picture of the bird but because of the bird and its setting.
